I'll ignore the rest of your racist horseshit and just say: NO, inequality is NOT a condition of democracy; it's a condition of capitalism!

Okay, well I won't ignore your capitalism dumb shit, as I just say:  Yes!

Why?

Because if you find the nerve here, to list, every single solitary democracy on Earth that is ruled by us Caucasians ---then I can guarantee, I repeat, I can guarantee that Yes every society you list will be controlled by Fascism's inequality which ensures White Privilege--- and that is no matter if it's a Capitalism or Socialism or Communism nation.  I promise.

And I think that like a lot of losers you don't want equality of opportunity, you want equality of results, to be elevated despite your lack of skills or abilities.

How do you feel about the end opposite to equal outcomes as in distributing lobbying influence equally? I'm pretty sure I recall you being upset that winners above your station get more influence than you. Why did that bother you?

"Dutch intensive care doctor Jan Bakker is working in New York through the coronavirus crisis. He is exasperated by the American healthcare system and the inequality it highlights. "What this crisis has made clear is that the US healthcare system is pretty much the worst system we know in the developed world. It is best if you have money and want to get every possible treatment until your last breath. But if you're broke, you're screwed," Bakker said in an interview with Het Parool."

I think ol' Bakker is being disingenuous about the rest of the developed world. They are all like the USA, except that they don't brag about it like the USA does ---is that, what makes the USA worst?? lol. I'm now even wondering if Bakker went to the USA with a preconceived notion/sinister motive, that he's disguising with his Humanitarianism ---since he had to have known the USA healthcare sys is just like all other 1st-World nations'

Every 1st-World nation has a healthcare system/medical culture where the wealthy citizens receive far superior services, than low-income citizens. So, Jan Bakker is being dishonest here ---and please consider that in case you esteemed his scholarship here.

Equality is not about specific legal codes. It's about a state of mind.

Creating a society where people are equal requires a change in attitudes.

What can Canadians offer in support of equality, aside from money?

You should have called your thread stupidity.

There's no requirement to create "equality". You're taking about communism, and communism is not the friend of people who like the freedom to believe what they want. Look at religious freedom in China and the USSR if you don't believe me.

There's a requirement to create a society where people are free to choose their religion and their way of life, in a manner that doesn't infringe on other people.

That's what we have in Canada. If you don't completely understand that by now you're just a complete idiot.

IN all due respect, this might give the impression that you agree with @Marocc regarding Equality being about a state of mind.

When you say that one requirement has to be a society where people are free to choose their religion and their way of life, in a manner that doesn't infringe on other citizens, it went hand-in-hand with where she posted that creating a society where people are equal requires a change in attitudes. Since it requires a change in attitudes, in order to allow a society where people are free to choose their religion and their way of life in a manner that doesn't infringe on other people.
