Patriotism of Canadians towards America ?!

Perhaps you could point to a similarly disgruntled bunch of progressives forever pining away about not being Americans to better demonstrate that I'm just generalizing.

Pretty easy to find....just count all the "progressive" women who sought and obtained abortions in the United States over decades.

There's no ideology being imported, there's simply universal rights being recognized universally. And what do human rights have to do with ideology? Nothing until conservatives stand in the way,

Maybe it's just you that's inundated. Our networks seem just fine and appear to have their own reporters and cameras and everything. Then there's all sorts of international channels to choose from.  I

Because they hate taxes and wish they could be American?

Yes, because they hate taxes and could not legally receive abortions procedures in provinces under the CHA and 1988 court rulings....that they had paid for.

They not only wished it, they traveled to America to physically undergo abortions and exercise the "Right To Choose" freedom, far more demonstrative than barking Yankee chants at home.

How PROGRESSIVE !

Just because a couple of provinces exercised their right to fight a rearguard action against federal rights (hey look another universal right) resulting in poor funding and delayed procedures doesn't prove Canadian progressives were pining to become Americans because they hate taxes.

In fact I wouldn't be surprised to find US anti-abortionists were funding provinces to fight the feds.

Try again chief.

Yes it does, because it went far beyond a mere tax revolt.   These "progressives" protested with their bodies and unborn babies.   They would not be denied abortions by Canada, and sought freedom in the United States.

And they never ever came back?

Bullshit.

I suppose next you'll be saying their fetuses fought for the right to die as Free  Americans.

Doesn't matter if they came back or not...many followed...for years.

"Progressives" going to Yankee Land to get their abortions...because Canada would not provide such freedom.

Voting with their feet and lives for America....their babies died in America....and never came back.

Actually it does matter if you're trying to prove progressives pine away to become Americans for the same reason and in the same manner conservatives do.

But not, as you can't bear to face, going or staying because they hate taxes and socialism and want to give their lives for America.

I have demonstrated not only the rhetoric of "progressives", but their actions to pine away and obtain abortions in America by the many thousands.

You are labeling the mere thought of American freedom by Canadians as displaced patriotism.

Box.

No you've only demonstrated that you're a weasel who can't argue without changing goalposts, deflecting and otherwise squirming like a cornered toad.

Note the OP asked about confused patriotism and now you've switched it to a topic about displaced patriotism.

No I'm pointing out that the handful of American wannabe weenies we do have are just a bunch of no-account conservative whiners. Not progressive women fleeing conservatives who are simply more determined to be assholes than Americans.

I'm not boxed, you're cornered.

You have only confirmed the obvious, as "progressives" in Canada sought "social justice" and relief in the United States.

You label mere American wannabe weenies as whiner Yankee patriots while your own ilk marched right across the border for their abortions....by the thousands.

Box.

But if those free Americans had their abortions prior to legalization, what would have been the penalty?  Oh right, you still have the death penalty...

I've simply confirmed your inability to prove any of these progressives left Canada to live in America. They sought an abortion.

Cornered.

???   Please cite one case where a patient received the death penalty from a court.   (besides the unborn fetus).

Canadian women still sought abortions in America.

Leaving Canada for America is exactly what they did.

Coming home to Canada is exactly what they did too.  Meanwhile the wannabes still won't even leave their mom's basements never mind Canada.

You don't know that they ALL came back.    But we do know they left Canada by the many thousands over many years....some still do.

"Progressives" not only wishing for, but acting on their desire for freedom in Yankee Land.

You don't know that even a single one stayed due to being a wannabe because all you have is crap pulled from your stupid butt.

If your butt tells you there were thousands it should be able to come up with at least one that stayed don't you think?  I suppose one might have stayed like my brother did but staying to get married is obviously different.

I just wanted to remind you of your progressive death penalty.

Plenty of abortions were happening in Canada after it became legal in the US, in clinics that were periodically shut down.

We certainly had plenty of Yanks coming to Canada for weed from New York State.  The lower drinking age was another draw.

That's fine, but we are not debating American patriots going to Canada (e.g. Vietnam draft dodgers).

At issue is criticism of only "right wing" Canadian wannabes supporting and desiring American liberties, when clearly Canadian "progressives" have acted accordingly as well.

That's even funnier...your own brother stayed too.     Can't make this stuff up.

Yup, stayed because he loved an American not America.

You still looking for an example of a Canadian abortion refugee who stayed because they love you?

Don't have to....the progressive American wannabes already got what they wanted.

Do you regard it as a universal right for a man to claim he's a woman and then compete with real women in sporting events?

I touched on this sort of issue in another thread with BC.

These, particularly, are the sorts of things that drive people insane and show how horribly off-the-rails Liberalism/Progressivism has gone.  Trump, if nothing else, has hopefully stunned some sense into that movement and taught them that hurt feelings are something to get over.  They're not something that lawmakers have to bend over backwards to accommodate.  Saying "too bad" is perfectly okay.

That does cut both ways though.  Certain issues like gay-marriage or women's rights (including abortion) are also things that people need to just "get over".  It doesn't affect you, so nobody should give a shit if it offends you.
