Canada's national debt out of control...

I care about all people not just Canadians though Canadians are my top priority. The color of passport doesn't matter to me. As I said 6 billion is a small portion of Canada's expenditure and while I agree it can do some good for Canadians though it can do a lot more good oversea can save much more lives. Canada's foreign aid is not about refugees bit helping people overseas.

What do you mean by the "color of passport"? I am not my brothers world keeper, and I do not intend to ever try to be. I have to live myself, and run a home, run a vehicle, by food and clothing for myself among plenty of other expenses. As I already told you? If you want to save and take care of the rest of the world then cut back on your own coffee intake yourself. Canada's foreign aid is more about helping the politicians in those many third world countries to get richer. Foreign aid is one big liberal and socialist racket. Believe it or not. :D

Canada just basically deferred the pain.  Economic pain now or economic pain later paying back the debt (with interest).  People have to eat, but the full economic effects of this won't be felt for a

Canada is running up 600+ billion in deficit spending and our MP's want the summer off.  Utter horse manure.

I don't see you even mentioning the pandemic and unfavorable economic conditions in the past couple of years.  What do you expect Trudeau to do; or you thought Scheer was going to do better ......for

As the member said? These people in the third world need to stop breeding like flies. If those people really cared about their world then they would stop bringing more children into their world. They are lucky if they can afford to have one child. The people in the third world are the ones burning down their own countries. Dam right, I want to keep enjoying my own world.

I am not going to give up my lifestyle or cut back on my coffee for a bunch of people who seem to have no idea and are clueless as to what the hell they are doing here on earth. All they seem to know how to do is to breed and breed some more. That is their big problem, and some thing you seem to want to ignore. We prosper here in Canada because we work for our prosper, and people do not have 5 - 10 children anymore like they once did in Canada over a hundred years ago. Canada cannot get out of it's debt if it just keeps borrowing money from the banksters(who then make plenty of interest off that borrowed money)and given most of that money away to foreigners. If you want to feel sorry for the rest of the world, and their problems, well then, use your own money to help save them, and leave my tax dollars alone. Your liberal socialism is really showing. ;)

Lack of education is part of that. Part of foreign aid is going to build schools in third world countries as well as other infrastructures and food programs.

These murderous regimes support each other as I mentioned before. We standing in their way does not change anything. Iran murderous regime for example survives because fucking Russian and Chinese regime dictators support them in any way they can. They could not care less about the people suffering under their regime. In turn Iran and Russia support Syria's dictator in any way they can so murderer Bashir Assad survives and the list goes on like a vision chain of murderers and dictators backing each other up.

So, just what are you going to do about all of those murderous regimes that you mentioned above? What are your plans? Just asking. ;)

If those people had any intelligence, they would restrict themselves to only having one or two children at the most. Get them educated so they can then help their own people to get out of their poverty and start to prosper, and build up their countries. But sadly, that will never work because the leaders of those countries could careless about their own people. And it is sure as hell that I am not going to help them. I am trying to hang to what I have now.

Maybe you should go to one of those poor third world countries and spend plenty of time there helping the people to get out of their misery and poverty. I am sure that they will appreciate all your help that you can offer them with your socialist ideas and programs. Let us know how things are going. Meanwhile I will sit back and enjoy living in my first world country. Works for me. ;)

PS: I will try to help payoff the Canadian debt while you are gone. Good luck, eh?

It is up to their own people not me and you to bring about change. And change will comes. Murderous regimes are diminishing. It used to be the whole world in 18th century and then Eastern Europe, Africa, Latin America, Asia in 20th century and only about a dozen regimes in 21 century. Human race is evolving. The Apes are diminishing.

Lack of sterilization (cutting off balls) is the actual problem.

To be honest that was the only successful strategy back in the eras of war, pestilence and famine. You couldn't just have 1 or 2 children and expect them to survive. Children also functioned as cheap labour, lessening the burden on their parents. Homesteaders used to have 10 or more kids here no problem, they'd all work on the farms.

In this country, with the eradication of child labour, having a lot of children has become a burden for working families. It became normal to just have two kids, that way you could have the time & money to give them opportunities and have them in extra-curricular activities.

Times are changing again though, as the welfare state kicked in and people are starting to discover that if they belch out enough kids their welfare will take care of it.

The people with 1 or 2 kids, who work and give their kids opportunities, are becoming the villains now, as their children are considered 'privileged'. If you want to be cool you shouldn't work and be responsible with your money, you need to sit back and collect welfare and then demand that your kids get the exact same opportunities as everyone else's kids get.

It's called being "progressive", or "woke".

We write off our debt to dictators and start standing in their fucking way instead!

Our grandparents sacrificed some 25% of their generations GDP to fighting tyranny. What's our excuse for not sticking with the program? Fear of our indebtedness to them.

What a bunch of useless pukes we've turned into. We deserve everything we get.  I doubt my grandkids will deserve it though.  It's heartening to know their other grandparents fled Hong Kong decades ago because they just couldn't bring themselves to trust Beijing.

That would be an act of war, they would crush us in all means of warfare, financially, militarily, electronically, not to mention Canada has well over 300,000 citizens in Hong Kong alone , not counting those in main land China, they would have no problem locking them all up , until we Canada paid everything we owed them...and lets not forget everything is made in China, where are you going to buy that stuff for cheap...

Hey , we are useless pukes because thats they way the majority of Canadians wanted  that way... we have no one to blame but ourselves...

Go up above and read my comments on interest.  Again, nobody can take the shirt off your back to make you pay interest on national debt.

It's called taxes, don't pay them and see what the feds are capable of...they don't give a shit about you or me, they will take everything you have and more. your golden as long as you pay...stop paying and you'll be locked up for a while, but hey they feed you 3 times a day, you'll have roof over your head, you'll make someone a good wife while your in there, everything is good. it's not like the communist block prisons, it's kind of like summer camp, with drill instructors as guards...

What you have outlined takes 60 billion not 6 billion.

I get you. We have to give priority to Canadians but the fact remains that this relatively small amount (relative to Canada's gross domestic product or even Canada's annual budget (expenditure) of over 350 billion dollars goes a long way overseas and makes a significant difference. Those Canadians who can afford it (a good majority) should also make private donations to charity work overseas and sponsor children for a price of a coffee a day. People overseas may not be Canadians but they are humans too and feel suffering and hunger and disease. It is our human responsibility to help a bit.

This is one of my points we just spent 343 billion dollars and the left did not even blink "relax they say it will get paid off soon," wait for it, it is expected to go up to 600 bil by 2021, wait for it again, we still do not have a plan to transition back to normal that is not costed yet....So if we can spend 600 billion like it was a normal shooping day, WHY can we not solve a few of our national problems along the way, i would say 60 bil is a deal to solve 4  major problems...i mean whats 60 bil compared to 600 billion, it sure would make alot of Canadians feel betterif we had something to show for all that money...

You know and i know unless Canada is going to directly administer that funding it's going to line someone else pocket. Very little will get down to the people that need it , if you don't ...

They cannot lock everyone up.  They depend on those people at the low and mid level wages. Those same people who have been struggling paying rent and food even before the national debt increased.  Those cannot be taxed any further.  The limit was reached already.

So no, nobody will be going to prison and the rich pricks who designed the Ponzi scheme and who expect to collect interest payments can suck it up.  I can give them all 7" of it and I can allow them to suck it up 10% more next year!   This is how it works, my friend!

I checked: Canadian governments (federal/provincial)  are well below 100% of GDP.

The federal government (Justin Trudeau) can borrow/spend alot more before the Canadian government becomes a Ponzi scheme.

======

Bill Morneau was right to borrow, in our name.

Paying the interest is a Ponzi scheme.  It has been a Ponzi scheme for generations.

It has a few regulating vents like the debt forgiveness when one goes bankrupt and the social programs.

A Ponzi scheme is unsustainable: less money in than going out.

Our Canadian governments are sustainable: whatever the government, they can pay.  (Nfld is risky but... )

=====

Justin Trudeau can borrow/spend based on his power to tax all of us, at any time.

Yes, Their scheme is slightly different but equally unsustainable.  They are asking you to pay more than what you take.  At one point you can no longer do that as there is nothing out there to grab and give to them.

We are not talking about everyone, just those that can not pay their taxes or do not pay...The government will get their due, until you have nothing left to give.. they don't give a rats ass if you can't pay the rent, or feed your family....Canadians go hungry in this country everyday, if the government gave a rats ass , then the feds would be running soup kitchens but they don't charities do....

We buy that cheap landfill shit from someone else or do without.  You can't find it in yourself to match or even better our grandparents sacrifices?  They did without all sorts of things while putting their principles first.

Kowtowing is now an act of patriotism? Some army guy you turned out to be. Also sounds like what you're saying is that we can't depend on our allies. Colour me surprised.  As for Canadians who visit dodgy countries, they need to take responsibility for putting themselves in peril not to mention us by making themselves into potential hostages.  To me they're more like these reckless daredevils who go off established trails or unprepared into dangerous seas and putting search and rescue personnel at risk.

That's what I said. If Canada truly believes China's money is more important than our lives and we should stop 'borrowing' it to save our economy why should I feel any compunction at eschewing Canada's grudging handouts and getting my hands on as much compensation as I can while the getting's good?

So what? We'll be in the same fleet of lifeboats along with virtually every other nation on the planet, notwithstanding those who succumb to their fear about their debt and use it to browbeat their citizens into going over the wire in their war to save their economies. Those nations will be flailing around in the water for years trying to grow their way out of the mess they've panicked themselves into.  Meanwhile we'll be ticking along and enjoying economic growth levels that are twice as good.

If the rest of the world jumped off a cliff, would you do it too?

Our economic growth is going to be toast for a while because lefties killed our oil industry.  Lefties also support giving free money to everyone.  So we're burning the candle at both ends.  In my city there's a big lack workers applying for low wage jobs because they can make as much or more on the CERB.   If you're not actively sending out resumes you should be cut off, as is the requirement under EI.
