I was away and came back just now.   Last time I heard, Scheer was asking for an extension.   Did Trudeau extend that 1 hour?

Remember Mike duffy and how the media kept that front page news for 3 yrs. The media is sickening in this country.

I didn't read the whole list but all of those things are several orders of magnitude below Trudeau's laundry list of actual scandals.  Things Trudeau did that weren't even considered 'scandals' b

I can't wait to see the house numbers and how much the taxpayer paid in looking after his family. FYI Harper paid for all food for his family. The only food paid for by us was for buisness. Trudeau's food is bought for by us. All organic flown in from wear ever. That there will make people puke.

A Liberal MP wrote a letter, critical of the PMO over this WE.  Who was that?   I didn't get the name!

Hopefully, this will encourage other Liberal MPs to speak out.  A coup might be breaking out!

WE Charity Moved Millions To Private Kielburger Company

"Massive red flag," says charity watchdog

Trudeau gov. $912M contract was with WE Charity’s recently formed real estate holding foundation

“It is absolutely shocking that the government would say that they provided a grant to We Charity when in fact they provided the grant or funds to WE Charity Foundation – a shell corporation with no assets, no history, no record of charitable work.”

Kate Behan, managing director with Charity Intelligence Canada, called for the public release of the original CSSG agreement between the government and the WE organization.

Where would all this lead, I wonder?

"Where will this all lead, you wonder"? Nowhere. Why? Because the people could careless that is why. Most members here will talk about the WE scandal but more than likely that is what they will only likely do. Canadians like to talk-talk-talk but will not do the walk-walk-walk. Nobody here is going to do a dam thing about the WE scandal, and Trudeau knows that nothing will happen to him. And it is for dam sure that the liberal conservative party will put out a nice pretend show on trying to make it appear as though they will do something or want something done. And if the liberal conservative party wins the next silly ass election they will never go after Teflon Don comrade Trudeau like they should do.

They will just shove it aside because they may end up doing something similar themselves one day during their term in office and they do not want the liberals to do anything to them when they get caught. You scratch my back, and I will scratch your back. That is how the game of politics is played. Live with it or get out there and do something.Talk is very cheap. The WE scandal will never go anywhere and nobody will go to prison over it. Just check it off as just another scandal that Teflon Don comrade Trudeau will get away with yet again, and to be overlooked and soon to be forgotten once again. ;)

You didn't read the list, yet you have an opinion on it. This is an unhealthy and useless way to debate.

Also, lots of unfounded, Alex Jones style conspiracy theories there. How can we debate when you are not backing any of the stuff you are posting?

"Intentionally spreading COVID in our country" ?

C'mon.

@Nefarious Banana and @scribblet really agree with you?

I read enough of the list to know that my time was being wasted. If there were some serious issues on there I'd keep reading but you were busy comparing apples to orangutans.

You're right, maybe Trudeau/Tam didn't know that they were actively spreading the virus. Maybe I just knew that knew that they were releasing the formula for spreading the virus, instead of fighting it, because I'm brilliant and I usually know more about the spread of viruses than Canada's top virologists and epidemiologists. Thanks for that ego-boost marcus, but I didn't really need it.

If you put something like the We scandal into Harper's list, where Harper's mom got her hands on almost $500K via one intermediary [a dubious 'charity'], it would literally stick out like an RPG in a sour cream bagel. So would SNC Lavalin. So would Adm Norman. So would unleashing islamic-state-trained war criminals into our society. I'll admit the Aga Khan scandal wasn't that big of a deal, but the fact that he spent Christmas on the Aga Khan's private island instead of in Canada set off some alarm bells imo. He's supposed to be a catholic.

Folks,

This is a final reminder:  Avoid thread drift lest I help you do so for you.

Where's the 'thread drift' ?  We're Canadian folks discussing the state of our country and its government.  I do recognize that you don't like me or my posts, just as I don't like you.  Guessing you'll label this post as thread drift . . . .  Waiting for the testimony of the PM.  Should be interesting.

It is hard to believe this idiot is still pretty high in the polls now but hopefully things will change when the only real opposition party selects their new leader. It is a fact,Liberal supporters are extremely tolerant of wrongdoing when it's on their side. Hypocrites.

I've seen different figures, but Brian Lilley writes that Margaret Trudeau got closer to $500,000 from WE when travel expenses are included. That's an awfully large percentage of the money handed over to WE finding it's way back into the steadily growing Trudeau family fortune.

Comrade Trudeau will get all of his votes from the millions of newly arrived immigrants from the third world in the past several decades, and from the many buffoon British/European pro-liberal suckers. I see liberalism remain alive and well in Canada just about forever. This might be the last chance that a so called conservative party of Canada ever gets elected again if they can do it. If the conservative party keeps talking and acting like a liberal party then why bother voting for them. Might as well vote for the liberals forever and watch Canada burn to the ground. It is liberalism, socialism, communism, and environmentalism that will destroy this once great country. Things will never get better as long as the fools out there keep voting those buffoons into power. It's time for Canadians to stop thinking that all is well when it really is not. Comrade Trudeau and this virus hoax is killing this country called Canada. Hello out there? Are you getting it yet? The WE scandal will go nowhere and nobody will go to jail.  :(

Everyone has to admit that the Keilburger brothers are pretty slick no matter what side you're on. These guys have also clearly picked up some bad  acting skills somewhere along the way. I wonder who they learned that from?

How did you come to the conclusion that those are exec files being taken out of WE offices?

Polievre is excellent at this kind of thing.

Polievre is sharp, and would make a good lawyer. But I don't think he would be able to make it as a prime minister. Not right now anyway.

Who knows, he may gain the PM qualities that voters look for in a decade or so. He is still quite young.

As much as I hate to admit it, it's not a stretch to say that Justin Trudeau could be Prime Minister for a very long time or at least until he get's bored of the job. Perhaps at some point in the distant future, he may gain the PM qualities that Canadians deserve.

Have to disagree with that, he`s a good MP and great at his job.  Sure he`s a pit bull when it comes to investigating corruption and lack of ethics etc. but after asking a question 4 times and getting no answer 4 times, he gets testy.  He knows his stuff, in fact he has a real talent.  Not a bad idea to see PMs and cabinet questioned like this more often.   And - required to answer. Just found out Craig Kielburger's parents are teachers and Toronto real estate investors.  Now WE buying and selling all the properties makes sense:

"Fred and Theresa Kielburger were determined to give their children advantages they’d never had. They worked hard, both as teachers and as strategic investors in Toronto’s hot real estate market. Their efforts paid off. By gradually buying one home after another, living in each, renovating them and selling them for a profit, they were able to build a comfortable life for themselves and their children."

http://canadian-living-front.backend.prod.qmicube.net/life-and-relationships/community-and-current-events/article/two-teachers-who-helped-their-kids-start-a-movement

And this from a recent news story:

"The transactions associated with WE entities acquiring various pieces of property are sometimes complex. In one instance, a numbered company registered to Fred and Theresa Kielburger, the parents of Marc and Craig, sold a building directly to the ME to WE Foundation for $2.6 million."

https://nationalpost.com/news/property-brothers-kielburgers-facing-scrutiny-over-we-organizations-50m-real-estate-empire

Uhhm...are the property-flipping parents making money from WE charity?   Sounds like they did.  Sounds like a conflict of interest.

Honestly, Trudeau's whole shtick was "It's my divine duty to pontificate to you little Canadians and to denigrate the majority here because I'm so morally & ethically superior to you all. Keep electing me and I'll keep on making Canada better by my example, and by promoting the values of superior cultures from around the world."

What will it take for his idiot, sycophant horde to realize that he's a bigot and that his style of theft fits the exact profile of 'systemic racism', - "peons pay into the system and my people, my cronies and my family take from them".

How does he re-brand himself from "divine pontificator" to "pragmatic leader with major ethical shortcomings"?

With all that has come to light about the shady dealings, financial irregularities, forced employee NDAs, firing of the chair and then the entire board by WE it is simply beyond belief that no one in the entire liberal government thought to simply google the so-called charity whilst doing their so-called 'due diligence'.  If this is the way entities are investigated by this government, I wonder how many other under-the-table deals are going on right now with no oversight what-so-ever.
