As for women being more intelligent, it must be true because my wife says it is. Let's get confirmation from Betsy, Bush-Cheney and Dialamah.

Yes, ok - women are more intelligent.

Also better negotiators,  financial traders and leaders.

But do not fear, boys - you've got us girls beat in finding your way and eye-hand coordination.

Just what the world needs again. Another leftist liberal secretary general of OECD. As if we the people do not have enough leftist liberal buffoons running this world already. No trade off. Just liberals looking after and helping other liberals keep their control of politics and the world. Those leftist liberals do not fight and argue among each other. They stick together like glue. Conservatives???

True. Yet Mr. Harper did not have the same shortcomings. JT is not a natural leader so he cannot rise to it spontaneously, nor can he draw on his past experience.

Harper had no understanding of the importance of science. JT's not much better. Harper's past experience consisted of being a hack for the marxist Manning.

This definitely worries me.  I think Freeland is a smart woman and could do a decent job as PM even, but I don't see how she's appropriate for the Finance Minister's position.   Trudeau seems to use her as his omni-tool.  He knows she's popular and puts her in visible places to put out his fires.

Unfortunately, Trudeau seems to have a very poor grasp of economics (like his father) and from what I've read he and Morneau (someone who does know finance/economics) were really clashing on a number of plans moving forward.  With a historical deficit, Trudeau apparently was intent on going full-steam ahead on environmental spending whereas Morneau felt finances were in crisis and we weren't in a position to do much for the time being.

I've never felt that Trudeau was particularly intelligent or that he has good judgment, but my hope was that he'd surround himself with smart people and listen to them.  Until now, that seems to have been the case, but as he continues to turf ministers and get caught in petty ethics scandals, it's getting harder and harder to trust him.

Teflon Don Trudeau has to be smart and intelligent. He got elected the PM of Chanuckistan somehow, didn't he? The only ones here who are not very smart nor intelligent are the dummies that voted for him and gave him the crime mistakes job. I know of liberals who will be voting for Teflon Don Trudeau in the next election. How stupid is that? The stupidity will continue on here in la-la Canada land, and if another leftist liberal or a liberal conservative leader gets to be the prime mistake of Canada, the same old corrupt chit will go on. It will never end.

Why? Because nobody really gives a chit. Canadians can do all the BMW(bitching/moaning/whining)all they want to. They keep showing that at every election. Most Canadians appear to be totally clueless about what is going on nor do they appear to really care all that much as to what is going on. Until that changes, you can BMW here all you want too. Nobody is listening to you. The PPC party appears to be the only party left in Canada that has some great real and true conservative ideas and policies. But once again, they will probably be ignored again and the whiners will either try and put another leftist liberal or liberal conservative party leader back in power. Sad thing is that nothing will change. Maybe just the party and it's leader. Big bloody deal.

Millionaire Morneau got paid during this scamdemic and probably made millions more by being the finance minister. And while Morneau will get a nice pension with benefits, the rest of us smucks can go take a flying leap off some high cliff. Woke up all you BMW people. Politics in Canada is one big scam. Why do you keep playing their scam game all the time? Christ, they do not even work for you. Our Canadian puppet on a string politicians have pretty much all been bought off and been sold to the globalist deep state elite. Hello out there?????

When Harper was President of the National Citizen's Coalition he was supposed to be against big government, high taxes, and for more freedom. But when he became the PM of Canada, we got the reverse and more of the same mentioned above. Harper showed his true colors. Harper was a puppet on a string all along for the globalist elite as pretty much all Canadian politicians are. The interest of Canada and Canadians interest are far from Canadian politicians minds and agendas. If our politicians gave a crap about this country we should have been one of the most wealthiest people and countries on earth. Instead, they pretty much all sold Canada down the drain for a few pieces of silver.

When was the last time we had a PM of Canada that started to cut big government, cut high taxes, and gave us back our economic free spirit and free enterprise freedoms back? Morneau was just another puppet on a string for the globalists, and did nothing for Canada or Canadians. And now he will enjoy his pension life at the Canadian taxpayer's expense and take your tax dollars and have fun with it. Canada truly does need a taxpayer's revolt and revolution. But good luck on that one because no one really gives a crap all that much about doing anything about anything and never have nor probably never will. Just talk with no walk. Canadians are not leaders, they are just a bunch of zombie like followers. This hoax Covid virus scamdemic is a prime example of that alright. Their freedoms have been taken away from them because of this hoax and they still will go along with this farce. But hey, what more can be said. :(

Trudeau and AOC have the same superpower.

They are such huge narcissists that they never feel embarrassment or shame no matter how stupid their last comment was. I'd crawl into a hole if I ever said or did anything that is considered the normal level of idiocy for those two.

Trudeau is fresh off of his umpteenth major scandal and he's already acting like nothing ever happened and he's still Canada's prodigal son. I'm 100% certain that he is truly unable to feel shame.

It worked for Mike Pearson and MacKenzie King.

As long as you cut taxes, you will never pay off the deficit. We owe this money and we have to pay it back.

I have no idea how those guys acted. One was PM before my mother was even born, and the other lost power the year I was born.

I doubt that I would have hated either of them as much as I hate the village idiot though. I hate Trudeau more than Trudeau hates poverty (as in, the idea of living in poverty himself). That's off the scale.

A lot of Canadians don't care about the deficit, as long as they get something in return....wait until you see Justins new plan...

MacKenzie King was the longest serving Prime Minister in the British Empire. Of his Minister of Customs, it was said he was protectionist by day and a free trader by night. (He was part of a smuggling ring during prohibition)

Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson had three ministers accepting bribes. And his Parliamentry Secretary offered a Montreal Lawyer who was representing the US Government in the extradition case against Lucien Rivard $20,000 not to oppose bail. Rivard was wanted in Texas on drug charges and was a mafia hit man. When Rivard failed to make bail, he escaped from Bordeaux jail under suspicious circumstances. There were two other scandals but I'm an old coot and can't remember the details. All these scandals were running simultaneously in 1964-65.The skinny is that Prime Minister Trudeau is a paragon of integrety compared to the Government of Nobel Peace Prize winner Mike Pearson.

The lesson to take away from all this is money attracts pirates. The greater the cash flow, the more pirates move in to get some of it. It isn't neccessarily the fault of politicians, it is the product of the enormous amout of money flowing through government.

Yes it does attract pirates, pirates that should be dealt with by the full weight of the justice system, Having integrity, or ethics, or honesty is not to much to ask from these people that we vote for, and if they can not live up to those standards then they should be removed and face the judge for their crimes.. One of my Regimental Sgt Majors used to say, Every man is responsible for their own actions, regardless of circumstance. Police officers don't get a free pass to beat on any citizen they feel needs it, because they are exposed to violence everyday .

These people should be held to the highest standards, and if they can not maintain that there should be a mechanism to remove them.

"We"? I don't recall borrowing anything.

I do pay a hefty sum in taxes. If anything the government owes me, in the form of services refunded. Apparently that's what these taxes are for, first and foremost.

That's one of my biggest criticisms of socialism.

When you want to see a socialist gasp for breath, say: "Sure, the idea of cute, cuddly Bernie Sanders getting elected and turning the US into a socialist country sounds great now, but what happens when all the money in the country is flowing through the government and the next Donald Trump gets elected?" You'll see pie eyes. It's not surprising though, because the only reason people are socialists in the first place is because they don't think things through.

The thing about pirates is they don't care about politics. They just want to get close to the money. They are not politicians or bureaucrats, they are the PR companies, the CERB fraudsters, the friends of the Minister of Customs in the days of prohibition. It is the Montreal mafia torpedos like George LeMay and Lucien Rivard, or the Hells Angels friends of Max Bernier's mistress. It isn't neccessarily the politicians who are dishonest, but it is the people on the edges who are the pirates. Some politicians are crooked but the vast majority of them are as honest as you and me...well, you anway. I always wanted to be a pirate,

"Cause it's a heave-ho! hi-ho!
Coming down the plains
Stealing wheat and barley and all the other grains
And it's a ho-hey! hi-hey!
Farmers bar your doors
When you see the Jolly Roger on Regina's mighty shores
Arr!

(Maybe I should have said I always wanted to be a lumberjack)

Didn't seem like a Marxist to me. I was annoyed that he thought he knew something about hockey.

I'll take it though, compared to what we have in there now... no question about it. JT has barely ever held a hockey stick, I'll wager. I can tell.
He's just not hockey material.

Anyway, no need for any tears for Mr. Morneau. No, the house of cards is not about to fall yet. The house is on hold. Held together by red tape... and a layer of fresh organic matter.

Moroneau moving on while Justin nods sardonically, is merely a symbolic jesture if you will. Now we can say the good PM has done some housekeeping.

Does this mean we get a new deputy PM now? Or does Ms. Freeland get to consolidate her position across two cabinets, if you will...

Massive deficits and debt in this country are almost entirely about decades of reckless and chronic overspending. Yes, both of Canada's two mainstream parties are guilty of this behavior. Justin Trudeau deserves consideration as perhaps the most reckless/foolish spendthift in our history.

As to the Morneau resignation,it seems even this big spender was cowed into submission by idiot Trudeau/Butts.

Who knew that all this business with the shady WE charity was a matter of national security? So many redactions...

Honestly it doesn't make much sense.  When parliament resumes on the 23rd they'll restart the investigations and expose whatever was redacted.  Unless Trudeau is resigning on the 23rd or they are just playing with the conservatives this is pointless.

His previous career shows him as a guy who'd still be living in his mom's basement if he didn't have a wealthy family. He had no real job experience, just a bit of this and a bit of that, plus some failed attempts at getting an advanced education.

Teachers aren't disqualified from holding office, they're just the least qualified to hold an office. All of their experience is working with kids. That's not like running a competitive business.

I would add lawyers to the very top of the list of those not qualified to be in politics.   Followed closely by property developers.  Both has chosen professions where the truth is extremely flexible and ethics are highly questionable.

Manning was Socialist Credit. They boasted about free enterprise but as soon as they got into power, they showed their true colours as Bolsheviks. Remember what they did to BC Electric. If you wanted to know where the next highway was going, just look at the land being bought up by the Bennett and Gaglardi boys.Socialist Credit were nothing but a gang of theiving communists.
