Lol.

Leftists don't actually choose 'what to watch/what to believe' based on facts or sensibility though, they choose to watch what they personally like.

They like to watch the news that gives them a chance to point the finger at other people, truth be damned, and when they watch CNN their sippy cups runneth over.

Everyone with any brains at all would know better than to believe what the Dems were saying during the Kavanaugh hearings, they know that Rayshard was shot because he punched a cop and shot a taser at his face and not because he was black, they know that Russian collusion was bogus, they know not to listen to an anonymous report from the WH that was contradicted by several people who were present, they know that AOC didn't see women in a detention center being forced to drink from toilets, they know that Brionna wasn't sleeping peacefully in her bed when she was shot by cops who entered without knocking, they know that Omar Mateen wasn't influenced by the GOP to kill 49 gay men, they know that AK-47's were illegal before Omar went into Pulse, they know that 'beloved father figure' isn't the most suitable description of Suleimani, they know that Antifa is real, they know that the riots weren't mostly peaceful, they know that when a terrorist attack is committed by men with AKs praising allah that it's not too early to call it a terrorist attack.... they know a lot of things that leftists like you just don't know sap, because they know better than to watch CNN and the rest of the sycophant media.

I know that you'll deny that you watch CNN, literally everyone here does, but the sad fact is that you'll regurgitate all of their more idiotic lies here 'til the cows come home. Maybe you're not getting your obvious disinformation right from stooge central, but you're watching the stations that propagate their fake news just the same.

They choose to swallow the facts, and say to themselves 'OK, I peronally know so and so, but my bottom line has to be that we are all for the greater good.' We all know what is the "greater good." That is why Dems and others say Donald Trump should not be prosecuted after leaving office. They know all are BS and cannot present any evidence in court. I said US is in the dangerous territories now, close to USSR / Red China dictatorship. :)

Our media in Canada is just as tightly-controlled as the media in any of those countries, and our police are political pawns of the state as well.

Democracy in North America is unravelling right now. Once the Dems convert the SC into the DNC Kangaroo Court, as was advocated for by Kamala and other high-level Demonrats, it's a done deal.

That’s pretty rich, conservatives think empathy is a socialist plot.  Try to find a conservative’s empathy for a refugee or even a fellow citizen needing a little social assistance and you’ll come up short every time

Yeah, I don't know that this is the topic to diverge onto this kind of bullshit, but that's what it is.

It looks like the Biden Admin will have carte blanche for 2 years, at least.

Other than dealing with the horrific COVID-19 response, you'd think the Biden Admin would try to get real democratic reform going.

Get rid of the Filibuster, add DC and Puerto Rico as states. Heck remove the Electoral College while they're at it.

That'll ensure the GOP stay in the wilderness for a very long time.

Not if they let their identity politics crowd take control of the agenda. It won't take long for that to irritate the hell out of a lot of people. And without Trump as an urgent reason to support the Democrats they could easily lose control of both House and Senate in 2 years.

Merrick Garland (Remember Him!!!) is Biden's pick for AG.

And there's nothing the GOP can do about it now.

Garland is not exactly a far left guy. As I recall Obama nominated him for the SC precisely because his credentials were impeccable and the Republicans would not be able to legitimately object for any reason. That was why they refused to even hold hearings.

  • 2 weeks later...

The senile one was out of his basement (or possibly in font of a green screen in his basement) to lie and slander, but there was some good news in his speech:

Quote

(CNN)Joe Biden's crisis presidency effectively began Thursday evening, when he urged Americans to mobilize behind a $1.9 trillion plan to end the pandemic, save the economy and revive the weakened heartbeat of a nation.

Suddenly the exact same things that trump was doing, which were all ghastly mistakes, are going to be heralded as brilliant, and covid doesn't stand a chance now.

"Let's spend money on vaccines, and blah, blah, blah."

"OMG, what a great idea! Why did nobody ever think of that before??????!!!!!!!!!!!!???????"

Yesterday on The Five their resident Demonrat, Juan Williams, commented that: "Finally something is getting done about covid!" lol.

Thegood news is that the covid fear-mongering that has permeated every aspect of the left wing news for the last year will suddenly turn to talk of how many people have recovered, how effective the new treatments are, how effective Biden's vaccine roll-out plan has been, how unlikely people under 70 are to become really sick from covid, etc. We'll all be expected to marvel at the magnificence of Trudeau/Biden's fearless and effective leadership as the world begins anew.

TBH, I'll be happy to see a return to normalcy, it might even be worth the insufferable propaganda. I can turn off the news but imagining life as usual again is getting stale.

Quote
he will take the oath of office amid soaring fears of violence by pro-Trump extremists, which will mean the National Mall will be empty of its carnival crowds of thousands who traditionally witness the sacred transfer of presidential power.

Ooh yeah, there was some rioting one afternoon, in one quarter of an acre in America, which was universally condemned by Republicans, but there are 'soaring fears of violence in America' all of a sudden.

Contrast that with the 4 years of rioting by Demonrats which was widely celebrated and protected by leftist politicians at every level of government. Those traitors were even preventing law enforcement from shutting down rioting and they were bailing rioters out so that they could rejoin the criminal festivities.

"We have to let violent offenders out of jail because of covid, wink wink, but people who don't abide by ludicrous and illogical covid restrictions will go to jail. Rioting is ok, looting is ok, any other gatherings will result in jailtime."

Also, the National Mall would have been empty anyways - Biden has never drawn a crowd in his lifetime. A big rally for him is in the hundreds.

Quote

"It's not hard to see that we are in the middle of (a) once in several generations economic crisis, with the once in a generation public health crisis," Biden said. "The crisis of deep human suffering is in plain sight. There is no time to waste. We have to act and we have to act now."

(Note that they have to add the indefinite article to his sentence for him - the guy can't even speak English anymore ffs)

No time to waste..... Hmmmmmm

From the summer until after the election they withheld aid from Americans for their own political gain and now all of a sudden they pretend to care about 'the crisis of deep human suffering' lol.

What makes that so funny Boges? Did you think that Biden wouldn't be allowed to pick his own AG?

I don't get it.

Now shall we happily welcome the leftist authoritarianism they bring. The alternative is more punishment for us being bad.

I'm interested to see how much farther into fascism the leftists here can go.

No one ever thinks that they could be the idiot to follow the next Hitler, but right now leftists are all for the modern-day book burning and state-controlled media.

The leftist mind has been whipped to a high level of anxiety and fear for their very lives. The world is coming to an end in a mere 8 years. And now with Covid 19 as leverage to impose totalitarian rule, no democracy, no law is as powerful. The people accept it willingly. Checkmate. The game is over.

It’s down to 8 years, now, eh?  AOC and her ilk must be willing to do anything to save the world.  Even steal an election...

You think they had a hand in the Ugandan election?  Does Bobi know?

Approval plunging below 30% as Trumpers start to wake up.

Will any of them on here have the character to admit publicly that they were duped?

Why do you think they were duped ?

Trump was elected to break things....to disrupt...to upset the status quo.

Trump is a marvelous "bastard" that way....fun five years !

1.  From how they describe 'dear leader'.
2. Yes, and I was optimistic on how this would go from the outset.
3. I suspect your expectations of him don't exactly match many of his supporters, especially the true 'deplorables' and Trump cult koolaid drinkers.

"If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it, and you will come to believe it yourself"

"A lie told once remains a lie but a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth"

"Propaganda works best when those who are being manipulated are confident they are acting of their own free will"

Joseph Goebbels

Goebbels must have been one of the few things Trump studied.

Trump told the stolen election lie a thousand times and we saw the result on Jan 6.

Then there's this:

"

President Trump’s White House put together a list of accomplishments to date from the President’s efforts while in office.  The list is a mile long.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/trump-administration-accomplishments/?utm_source=link"

If somebody is governing the way you want him to you tend to approve.

I get that progressive socialist types find that difficult to comprehend though. They can never experience the phenomena because even if they get what they're told they want they won't like it.

1.  The average Trump voter was not a "dear leader" devotee...that is a much smaller demographic that existed long before Trump's great adventure into politics.   Trump just gave a bigger voice to that demographic.

2. It went as expected, even for the Trump haters.   Now its back to the same old familiar suck.

3. My only expectations of Trump (who I didn't vote for in 2016) were to continue the chaotic disruptions, and he delivered very well.   First and foremost he prevented Hillary Clinton from becoming POTUS...a plus in my book.
