Why do Canadians keep supporting this error-prone government?

After the British and French signed an armistice they then negotiated for final terms of the peace treaty. Much to the surprise of Quebecois who had fought on France's behalf here France gave away Quebec to the British because they thought there was more profit to be had in Haiti.

After the British and Americans had declared an armistice in the War of 1812 they then negotiated the final terms. The British put the border where Canadians would not have, and ceded territory we would have rather kept. Because it wasn't a big deal to them. And since Canada had no real say well... the border is where it now is.

The Americans already disagree with some of our claims in the Arctic. Are they going to fight Russia on our behalf? Unlikely. And if they and the Russians decide to negotiate who gets what Canada's interests are going to be distinctly secondary.

Yes Canada and the US have disagreements in the north, as does Denmark, nothing that a couple of beer could not solve if it was a large enough matter, lets face it the US are going to do what it wants from the get go in regards to defending USA, as they should they are after all paying most of the bills. That being said  i would give good odds if Canada atleast tried to defend it's territory, I think Uncle Sam would atleast kick down the door...and ask WTF is going on, sending the ruskies home.

Kind of like defending your little brother, you know the one yappy, giving everyone the finger, including big brother when he is not looking, the kind you just want to shove into a school locker....

The greatest threat to this nation is not the US, Russia, or china it is the left and our greed.

SMR's are the hope of the future. Small, inexpensive and simple to run and maintain. Automated, even. These are under development now. Canada would do well to get onboard the SMR development trai

Come on Johnny, give us a break, these are not small mistakes but huge gaffs, and scandals, more than any other PM in history...and they are not to be wiped away because we all make a few mistakes, th

This keeps getting better and better, with the liberals just digging holes every where, and liberal voters absent once again... Now there is a cry that the Canadian military needs to be purged of this type of culture.... once again the media misses the target....

lets take a look at the country over the last 5 to 10 years, it is not just the Military, RCMP, Coast guard, and every other Governmental department...the problem lies with Canadians...it is here that Canada draws it's recruits from, and while it may be imbedded in their cultures be it policing or military etc...  the majority of it lies with us, joe blow Canadian... and why do we tolerate this behavior at all.

We're a country of politically brain-dead dolts.  Content to let another country look after our defence all the while looking down our collective noses in our typically self-righteous manner.  Content to vote in twice the most corrupt, appalling, inept fool  . . . ever!

Content, content, content.  We are the joke of the world . . . . and we're content with that.  F'k !

I've been asking these questions to the left for a long time now, and yet none of them are willing to answer, it is like all sides have been brainwashed into thinking the left is always right , and the right positions are straight from hell, and should not even be listened to. Our nation is about to face a crises beyond what it has ever faced in our entire history, thats saying something as we as a nation has been at war on 4 separate occasions, faced many financial crises, and even a few pandemics, today we face historical debt, to which we have little to show for it, leadership that does not want to make those tough calls, and the calls they do make are not decisive, more like wishy washy at best..

Kelly McParland: Why do Canadians keep supporting this error-prone government? (msn.com)

We have a big problem in Canada. It is called a lack of real and true conservative government and politicians. All we have today are leftist liberals, socialists and even communists running and ruining this country. Sadly there are members like Argus here who seem to feel that conservatives are the problem. It is the conservatives in this country that want to fix the problems created by the likes of Trudeau and his communist ilk.

Our nation is already in a deep state mental and fiscal crises. It's going to take real and true conservatism to try and fix and straightened things out. But by the looks of things that may never happen at all. Way too many people keep listening to their fake and lying news politicians and the media. Both of them appear to be the enemy of we the people today. They create one hell of a bloody mess and then they try to pretend that they are going to fix it up but in the end they make things even worse. They have pretty much have all become a bunch of buffoons. Just my opinion of course.

How is it that Harjit Sajjan remains defence minister, cabinet bigwig and member in good standing of the most woke government in Canada’s history, which is run by a self-declared feminist prime minister who insists he has zero tolerance for workplace harassment or sexual misconduct in any form?

Kelly McParland: For Sajjan, zero tolerance doesn't mean zero (msn.com)

This is the second CDS under his watch that has had allegations filed against them, and the first one he knew in 2018 and passed it on to the PCO, why not to the proper channels, i bet my ass Justin knew as well. OK not my ass i need it...

Another massive let down by Justin's merry band of Teflon warriors, they keep trampling on liberal Canadians and they scream back please sir can I have another. what is sad i know a few people who have said they have given up, F**** politics, they are all the same, and they don't care if Justin burns it to the ground. Liberals just don't care as long as the conservatives are in charge, it scares the shit out of them....they are scared all the hand outs are going to dry out if the cons get in....But you know what even todays Conservative party is so far  left leaning, hoping for the scrapes that fall of Justins plate..

I really can't wait for Canadians to find out what the tax bill is this year, or next ....Hey check the price of gas lately , ya Justins climate plan in action.

Here in the lower mainland of BC today I just saw one Chevron gas station show the price of a liter of gas to be $1.51. The ripoff continues. I guess this is why so many Canadians are living in warmer countries like Mexico or the Caribbean these days. They are getting away from the high taxes and high prices of food and merchandise. A buddy of mine says that he lives like a king in Mexico and he said that he was basking in 80F temperatures that day when I last spoke to him. Bugger!

This country isn't fixable. We're too far down the rabbit hole. Divided along regional, economic, and racial lines. Divided as never before. There isn't any leader of any stripe that can fix what has happened to Canada. The populace is politically lazy and stupid. The likes of a Trudeau can flash their hair or socks and the stupids think they have a leader. We are a sad joke, an unfunny joke.

More lies , this time Justin was doing all the talking, or should i say misleading the left... This time it is the governments response to the pandemic.... and who's fault it was, well it has gone from the conservative party, to Harper " i thought we were through with blaming Harper, and now it's Mulroney, yes the PM back in the day...

According to Our World in Data , as of March 17, Canada ranks 51st in terms of the percentage of citizens (1.62 per cent) who have been vaccinated with at least one shot against COVID-19 — well behind Israel (48.68 per cent), Chile (13.22 per cent), the U.S. (12.18 per cent) and even Morocco (5.8 per cent).

and just on a side note this tidbit will be the final nail for our not only did he mess things up during our nations response to the pandemic.... but in the back ground they are getting ready to kill the very industry he promised to revive so we would be ready for the next pandemic....

Lucas says Trudeau’s government appears poised to put the final nail in the coffin of the innovative industry by making amendments to the PMPRB’s Patented Medicines Regulation , which has been delayed twice, and is now expected to come into effect on July 1.

“This law may be the point of no return for Canada and the innovative pharmaceutical industry,” concludes Lucas. “I hate to say that, but it could very well be the last straw in the relationship between the innovative industry and this country.”

And then gets uncovered the Pharma Industry was desperately trying to get a meeting with Justin about these new bill ,   No response by Justin or the health minister... Liberals don't get it...

Our concerns about the federal government’s new regulations is that they go far too far in cost containment and they don’t respect or I guess even accept that maybe Canada should want these companies to invest in this country. We already do invest a lot, by the way, but we could compete globally for a lot more investment if we had an environment that was a little bit more favourable to the innovative business,” said Fralick, adding that the industry employs 30,000 Canadians in high-paying jobs and contributes $19 billion to the Canadian economy.

She says over a time span of two years, 30 global CEOs from multinational pharmaceutical companies have written to Trudeau four times seeking a meeting — from February 2018 to February 2020 — just weeks before COVID-19 started to wreak havoc on countries outside of China where it originated.

“Not only didn’t they get a meeting, the prime minister never even responded. For the first letter, what we got back was an unsigned memo from the correspondence unit of the strategic policy branch of Health Canada,” says Fralick. For the other three letters, Trudeau’s office never responded at all, neither did his health minister.

Why is this any different from any other liberal fiasco, it's not it ends with members of the liberal party lying their asses off to save their own... Minster of Defense needs to be kick to the curb, he has brought nothing to the table except more lies, his lies about OP medusa was a red flag, all the others should have him clearing his desk...then again the liberals only fire women  MP's . Lots of squawking over all of this when the answer is right there in front of their noses.. all someone has to do is put it in writing...

Now key liberal MP's and staff are refusing to testify.... very transparent justin ...The liberals are very good at screwing things up, but they suck when it comes to covering them up... I mean atleast try to make it look like your not covering up everything... Liberal voters need to really dig deep and ask themselves "WHY" would i support this clown and pack of liars...

Trudeau slams 'disconnected' Conservatives in sharply worded speech to party faithful

I find it hard to believe even a liberal could believe this lies... so much for no more lies... How does he know that the cons would have been less generous and get this unreliable performance in the pandemic... Has the cons said any of this, no lies...all lies...

Perhaps the next story should be , Justin has sex with roosters, and other farm animals news at 6 pm...or has fired his wife out on the street, while closing their bank accounts forcing her to work as a veggie picker...for mere dollars a day... cut to her with dirt on her face, while planting potatoes by hand...her kids crying on the side of the field while a migrant worker yells at her for being to slow...

Well at least he has stopped blaming Harper for everything, thats progress... one day Justin will step up and admit his failures....

In a 20-minute virtual address to thousands of party members, Trudeau said Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole "can't quite grasp" the struggles that Canadians have endured over the last year during COVID-19. He suggested the Tories would have been less generous with relief programs and unreliable pandemic stewards had they been in power.

While most pandemic programs unanimously passed the House of Commons, Trudeau claimed O'Toole would have cut the Canada emergency relief benefit (CERB) — "a lifeline for millions of people during the worst economic crisis in a century." He also accused the Conservatives of thinking young people are "lazy" and argued they would have left students in the lurch during the pandemic.

Rather disgusting that he uses the virus and peoples suffering as a lever against conservatives.

Mr Trudeau has taken the posture that for any conservative he’s “not my Prime Minister”.

The Liberals completely screwed up the response to the actual virus. All they've done is spray money all over the country with a firehose, hoping it gets where it ought to but without much in the way of checks to prevent fraud or misspending.

When it comes to actually dealing with the disease they've been miserable failures. And their failures have led to the deaths of a large number of Canadians.
