Mass Stabbing in North Vancouver

Recommended Posts

So a guy was running through the library and streets of Vancouver stabbing people. Don't know how big a deal they'll make about it nationally. It was stabbings not shooting and he wasn't white.

Here he is: Yannick Bandaogo

Apparently there's a guy with his name from Quebec who has a criminal record for violence.

A woman died and he was charged for 2nd degree murder.

Then five people got stabbed in Kelowna. Not connected. Kind of weird though. 2 mass stabbings in a province on a weekend.

Notice they give you the sex of the victims in the Kelowna stabbings but not with the North Van ones?

Is that worth a hmmm...

From the look of things so far it appears to be mostly women who were attacked.

There was one old guy but he would be coming from an era where you tried to protect women being attacked.

I'm still suspicious as to why authorities won't give the sex of the victims in the North Van case but there's supposed to be another police statement later today.

I'm also curious what kind of knife would be used in a Library stabbing. Did he bring it with him with purpose? Would that be an "assault knife?"

We need to bring back capital punishment in Canada. Mulroney majority government blew it real bad as they stood a chance to do the right thing for Canada but like his other policies (almost all except free trade) he failed.

Bulroney was a conservative failure. Bulroney had a chance to get rid of leftist liberalism programs and agendas but did nothing about it. He just allowed liberalism to carry on. Sometimes I have to wonder as to whether conservatives really do believe in conservatism. They keep electing wannabe liberal leaders.

Canada does need to bring back the death penalty for murder. If one takes anyone's life, then they must forfeit their own lives. It's that simple. ;)

Are we now going to have a movement to ban knives now ? probably not they are not designed to kill the most people in the shortest amount of time....maybe the spoon that is a fork will come back, with a dull edge...

One thing for sure. If the attacker had been white his race would have led the newscasts and it would have been called an act of white supremacy. No evidence necessary.

A knife is a tool that can be used for many things. Some knives are restricted or banned.

In Canada you mean?

I seem to remember hearing the knives to guns ratio as murder weapons for last year was pretty close.

The gap is quite a bit wider in America. More guns used.

About 5 years ago it was more knife murders to guns in Canada, I'm pretty sure.

When gangs, crooks, terrorists and other crazies get easier access to guns or perhaps there's more of them, guns or criminal crazies, the statistic seems to go up - guns to knives.

I'm not in the mood to chase stats but I think we'd get an interesting one if we looked for knife attacks per capita in the UK.

Go ahead look it up, if you like. Then draw your conclusions.

Whatever...knives don't kill people. People kill people.

One can say the same thing about fire arms....but we don't see people trying to ban them because of their  looks, nor have we the liberals making up lies to push the banning...
